Elia Espinosa is a physiotherapist, graduated from the Universidad Europea de Madrid (Spain), with a strong academic and clinical background in exercise-based rehabilitation and movement-related disorders.
She holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition, as well as a specialisation in Therapeutic Pilates from the Universidad de Barcelona (Spain). She is an accredited McKenzie Method physiotherapist through the McKenzie Institute (New Zealand), and has completed advanced postgraduate training in Clinical Pilates, Therapeutic Exercise, and Manual Therapy, supporting an integrated and evidence-informed clinical approach.
Elia is certified in Clinical Pilates for Physiotherapists by the Instituto Português de Pilates Clínico and contributes as a Clinical Pilates educator, with a strong emphasis on clinical reasoning, individualised exercise prescription and the integration of Pilates-based interventions within multimodal rehabilitation frameworks.
She has been a lecturer in the Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy at the Universidad de Córdoba (Spain) since 2018, and has also been teaching at the private university Fisidec in Córdoba since 2022. Alongside her academic role, she maintains private clinical practice at Clínica de Fisioterapia Prazer.
